I was on Audiojelly today randomly and noticed that the new Signum Remix of the classic "Someone" by Ascension has been released.

I don't remember in whose set I first heard this remix but it was a complete surprise. I really really really like what Signum did with one of my favorite older tracks, they have not ruined in any way. Good job Signum!

Well, everything's in ruins nowadays. Every track sucks so much I just wanna say every production is lame as .

This track is awesome

i dunno why signum attempted this. it's okay, but it's not a patch on the original mixes...

Thrillseekers Remix is still my favourite version of this track but the Signum Remix isn't a bad effort at all

This is a massive remix, much better than the ones before. A quality up to date version!

wasn't overly impressed by the sample.. i guess it could be worse & would probably sound good in a club, but it felt a bit disposable

what is wrong with Signums latest basslines? they lack all the power :(
compare this to the bass in Signum - First Strike. :((((((

anyway Ascension - Someone (Binary Finary's Future remix) is the one to go for.

Nothing compared to Thrillseekers Remix. I think if Signum would have done a remix of it in 2000, it would had been much better.

It's just 'meh' imo. The vocals were never good and that immediately hinders this. The follow up "for a lifetime" was much better, with a good remix from Oceanlab and a nice chillout mix too, when Anjuna had a bit of credibility.

the original mixes i.e. the original, dub and the slacker mixes are the best imo. the first remixes released later on by thrillseekers and binary finary were alright but a distance away from the original, and as for the signum mixes, they are slightly lower again down the pecking order.

overall, another pointless remix of another awesome classic that does nothing for one of my favourite masterpieces. artists need how to learn to write material instead of remixing every classic out there.
