I've read reviews of d ramirez last time he played nyc and it seemed he put on quite a show, more to his classic style. I'm actually a big fan of his earlier productions, he's one of my fav tribal/dark house producers. I might go check him out and yell at him to drop 'you can't handle this' and 'testify' if he plays too much electro, lol...will also be my 1st visit to cielo

Yes, when he came to Rebel, he blew me away with his set...one of the best I heard in 2007. He actually played alot of tracks I've never heard before, a nice blend of tech house, electro, minimal, etc. Def worth checking out this guy, you wont be disappointed.

I love his old track with James Mowbray, "the day hip hop died", and also his remix of "all i know".... Not to mention his mix "flashback", dope!!... I liked his 2006/2007 sound a lot, but was played out and copied by so many producers, shame... Might check this out if I don't have too much work to do..

Wicked party!

Great vibe in the room for our opening set and D. Ramirez really threw it down. Tough, tracky and techy stuff that had the crowd going off. Top-notch DJ skills as well. Was a pleasure opening up for him!

Hope some of you guys were there!
