Looking for some thoughts on a new track I just finished. www.myspace.com/sharaLdd

With each track, I strive to make it sound different from the last. It's so easy to stick with the same synths/beat/composition/etc...I've been trying to avoid that...which can be hard; but, so far so good I think.
Comments welcome :)

Interesting piece. Unique texture and feel. Some of the instrumentation is a bit 'campy' but you're right...this is pretty different. I really like the bass 'n beat combo to this one. Sampling is really cool too. I think you should work more on creating a better lead sound and find a mad hook for this that complements the bass line.
Good work....for a girl. ;) (j/k)

Boy do I get that a lot :( (I know you were j/k but you know you really weren't) :p

Thanks guys for listening...I really enjoyed working on it. I wish I could figure something else out with vocals...I'll get there eventually!

Feels Like is pretty good production wise but a bit minimal, and also not my usual listen.....

....but Fall Beat :D I like. Synths have something of a Booka Shade twist to them.

Good stuff

EDIT: Also with respect to ideas for editing vocals, load your sample into a sampler 10 times and play with it in different ways. Play them together. Use reverb - gate it - compress it - reverse it - throw weird EQ settings at it. Have fun.

Load it 10 times? Thanks for the ideas...that's the best part for me...messing with the vocals, adding delays and such.

I'm definitely getting mixed reviews on fallbeat...it's personally my favorite. It's either your cup of tea or not really!
And yes...Booka Shade is a huge influence in my productions. :D
