| pretty tight flik. great FX, somewhat like BW Project but with less motion sickness, although an intermission would have been nice lol |

| I thought it was awesome. I actually did feel a little sick afterwards though, but definitely worth seeing. I would have been a interested to know more about what goes on in the movie though...where is the big giant monster from (the sea I guess?), what happened to it, the aftermath, etc...they are apparently tossing around ideas about makin a sequel that would be someone else's account of the same night. That would be pretty cool. |

+1!!!:eyespop: :eyespop: :nervous:
My heart was racing the entire time and the movie was pretty flawless, excluding a few far-fetched scenarios (i.e ripping the girl from the pole that pierced through her breast/chest? and then having her running away from hell on nyc).
When the movie was over there were a lot of angry/upset people in the theater, but I thought the ending was awesome - I heart cliffhangers! This totally owns I Am Legend and thankfully NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED in this movie (at least not on camera :nervous: ). Badass monster movie, hope they can find a way to continue the story and make it just as exciting.
BTW... idk how i missed this, but did the monster just came out from underground? Or something crashed from outer space? I know they were saying that there was an "earthquake" and a "tanker explosion", but I somehow missed where these juiced-up crawlers came from. |

| If you noticed in the last portion of the film on camera, it was a flashback. You saw something drop in the water. I didn't see that until someone told me. |

That's what i've been hearing but i don't remember seeing that clip, bc i was purposely looking at the water to see if anything fishy was going on... oh well. Anyone get any screen shots somehow lol? |

Here's the best image I could, uh, find online. From watching the end a few times, I really couldn't see anything falling into the water. If you look at the bottom right, you'll just see some white object/ship but nothing going into the water.

There is also an audio clip that is played in reverse after the credits. This site recorded and has it played in the correct direction. I guess it's suppose to hint a sequel.

This is all speculation. Who knows what JJ Abrams would and could do to add mystery to the movie. |

| I thought there were some online promotion for the movie that hinted that the monster was awoken by a Japanese off-shore drilling site in the Bahamas or something like that. |

I honestly could not understand what the heck the audio said in the theatre. I had to find somewhere online that talked about it.
And the crashing satellite thing at the end, I just couldn't see it. The entire scene just shows that white thing in the corner.
I like all the viral marketing for Cloverfield, and I think Abrams did another number on us to stay interested for a sequel. It's like Lost, but on the big screen. |
