Its gonna suck even more when you finally get a degree & your first job pays your a whopping $40k a year. Then you will realize on that pay you can barely pay your apt/car/insurance payment while creditors are calling non stop for the $150k in student loans you will be paying off till your age 75. |

I cannot see going back to my parents for _another_ 4 or 5 years. I will be 26--27 by then and want to leave the US for good for my career. |

At least your honest about it. Wasting Loans will screw you on future years. Socialize more man. Get with a few friends and go out for a good time. You would be suprised how easy it is when your not trying. You have to get out there. Chasing shows weakness...just try to have a good night out and (depending on your skills) you can make the best of a situation. If you try too hard you will show it.
I went out lastnight and my friend (just single ) and I hit a bar. I didnt get a sip off my Guiness when there was a cougar ready to talk it up and making it clear she wanted something. Even when we werent on the hunt. The less you try the easier it is. |

Well, I don't drink or whatnot. It wouldn't make sense for me to be in such a place if I do not consume alcohol and most of my friends are very similar to me but don't want to make any real progress in their life. Also, my music taste sucks. If it's not trance, than it's only '80s pop/rock pretty much...a bygone era... |

Nobody said you have to drink, but you wont find a chick at a comic convention. Try a Farmers Market or a Pumpkin Patch (depending on the season)...ya know, places where hot women gather. |

I really do not want to waste time with anything that would be futile. I want to go somewhere where there are a vast majority of single & looking women that I could try chatting with. I ran into too many that are taken/not looking at school, etc.
PS: I don't even have any money to take one out, being that I can't even pay my rent. |

Why not look in your area for any events that are designed for singles people to meet each other? There are a couple of places like that in my area that advertise on the radio all the time. There's a small membership fee afaik (so you might be screwed), but they have the events setup to where they only allow singles to come. |

I just wish I budgeted correctly & didn't spend my money on watch-phones (yes, these now exist), hard drives, trips to DC, NY, & Montreal within the last 2 weeks [I was in Montreal just last weekend and did hardly anything there], two concerts (Information Society & NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular). Perhaps I may have had enough to cover at least a month now I wouldn't be so frustrated.
In essence, I never save anything. |
