I am super happy.. mainly because I am a big fan of a Giants fan. :)
I will be happy with either team winning.. but I am really hoping the Giants go all the way. |

In the history of playoff games played in Lambeau Field (and there's an extensive history), no one has ever kicked a field goal longer than 40 yards... and this guy made a 47 yarder look like an extra point.
Amazing game... I'd even consider it a classic as far as playoff games are concerned. As great as it would have been to see Favre in the Super Bowl at the age of 84, the Giants deserved to advance. They lost only one game on the road all season, and had to beat three teams on the road in the playoffs (which has only been done a few times EVER).
A lot of people are claiming New England to already have the Super Bowl title locked up, I think they should give their heads a shake. Sure New England has been more than impressive. They have possibly put together the best team not only in NFL history, but in the history of professional sports all together.
New England (though their record says otherwise) IS beatable. Especially by a team like The Giants who are clicking on all cylinders. The Pats should have lost to subpar teams in Philly, and Baltimore, and were lucky to get away with a win against this very team in the final week of the regular season. NY is much improved since that game, and Eli Manning is playing mistake free football. Tom Brady on the other hand, looked horrendous against a decent San Diego defense.
I'm going out on a limb and predicting an upset....
NYG 20 - NE 17
Giants defense should cause a lot of problems for Brady, he'll be hit, pressured, and sacked unlike any other single game this year. And Eli will continue his amazing run in the playoffs. |

Or if they both face each other in the Super bowl Colts vs Giants :D Imagine the dinner conversation the next day, or how the Arthur and the mother would feel.

My prediction is 35-17 for NE :D Eli would probably choke in a Super Bowl game compared to Brady who's been in 4-5? Super bowls. They had a fairly close game a few weeks ago though :S |

True, but in all fairness, when a snap comes in as high as that one did, it completely throws a kickers timing off. |

After missing both fourth quarter kicks, Tynes did not even wait to be told by Tom Coughlin to get on the field. He said after the game he decided he was going to kick the field goal, and Coughlin would have had to drag him off the field if he wanted to go for the first down.
amazing day of football |
