well, to be fair i only get to see the ing FA cup these days, asides from the highlight packages we get on SBS :( but i dont think you can say "look at where chelsea are with lampard compared to where liverpool are with gerrard" as ANY measure of comparison.
all i know is they both suck for england :( |

chelsea have bought (Jan 08), ANELKA (bolton) and IVANOVIC (Gun defender) from LOKOMOTIV (Russia)....they were hoping to buy Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham (who is a gun striker) but negotiations went pair shaped when agents got greedy.
Instead of ridiculous claims guys, try READ and research what you're saying....I follow this all on a daily basis. |

There's ing nedved plays for Juventus who's 35, Del piero, 33 all guns players...look at Henry playing for Barcelona 30....age seems to be no barrier to performance and competitiveness in some players.
if it were AFL...28's retirement??? |

I didnt know your grandma was Les Murray.
Everyone has an opinion mate - deal with it. not everyone is going to agree with the players you think are superior. ive always preffered gerrard because I believe he does alot more and brings alot more to a game of football then just scoring goals. He is such a gun defender and controls game with possession. If you want to go by "stats" on how a central midfielder has performed over the last 5 years then so be it. I hope these stats show you tackles, possesion and not just how many goals because we all know lampard plays more attacking than gerrard.
at the end of the day i dont really care coz i dont follow either teams but each to their own.

not so much his age, but his performances (admittedly im out of the loop these days). all i know is when he was on loan to liverpool he sucked donkeys nuts. |

Mate, seriously, I'm not on here to have a playground fight...I acknowledge that Chelsea aint the best but to be set back by losing their manager early in the season, players plagued savagely by injury, lose their gun midfield support and striker to African cup and to top it all off, they have had to produce a result that equals jose is a huge effort.
No other team except for Newcastle just recently, has lost their manager at any point of this season, that's a huge setback for any team. |
