Does anyone have any suggestions or links for a free zip software program? Something simple and easy with no spyware.
I'm done with the free trials of WinZip, etc. |

I use WinRAR (odd, eh) for all my zipping and unzipping mainly because I do all I need using right-click and I like the setup of WinRAR's right click options.
And yeah, it's WinRAR...meant for RAR files, but you can tell it to compress to .zip by default in its settings.

| 7-zip works .rar and others as well plus there is a portable version if you care about such things. |

| I prefer Winrar but I now use 7-zip so I didn't have to pay for it this time :-) I find Winrar's layout easier to figure out but its not worth buying when you can get 7-Zip for free ;-) |
