Anyone tried them or own them?

Hefty price tag, but they could be quite good given their Xone!

(I remember a thread somewhere, but did a search and it turned up jack )

Take a good look.

I think they're both rebranded versions of yet another headphone, possibly made by Audio Technica (I don't remember the exact manufacturer off hand, but I think there was an 'A' in it).

I think maybe A&H just wanted a headphone to say that they have a headphone solution.

Note: I haven't heard either the Denon HP-1000 or the A&H XD53 so I don't know how they compare to each other or are in general. The earcups do look like they stick out quite far, though.

its a pioneer hdj-1000 meets sony mdrv700 hybrid ripoff

Also, lol @ going up to 33kHz. :haha:

They're just rebranded Denons. Bit expensive ey?

I use the denons, and I prefer them over my sony's and my pioneer hdj-1000s.

Not sure if the A&H is any different...

How about thos AKG mofos, (Im doing a total equipment overhaul as A) Im switching from computer mixing back to CDJs+Mixer and B) My headcans decided to start being lame and only work 20% of the time)

I've seen people using the AKGs, just wondering if anyone on here has tried and liked, or tried and hated.

Think the model s AKG-181 if I'm not mistaken.

I'm using K271s. They do the job nicely if you have a loud headphones output.

Sony 7506: still the only headphone you'll ever need, IMO
ReDzY
Have AKG's and love'em Good highs, mids, and lows all around

I've heard great great things about both the AKG and the Sony cans, will look more into those two.
