The Worst Of TC: 2007 (miscellaneous)

I figured this would be the best place to post this, since this is technically a DJ mix, albeit very amateurish and wholly un-serious. As I haven't done any DJing in years -much less used a computer program to do so- most of the transitions are rather akin to something like a Back To Mine compilation.
As for what this is, us writers over at TranceCritic -System-J, Will Alexander (aka: teknomonki on these forums) and myself- have gathered up the worst music we had to review over the course of 2007 for TranceCritic's annual Worst Of TC list. Seeing as how hearing is often better than reading, I made a little DJ mix out of our selections in the process.
Again, this isn't a serious mix, so I'm not really looking for critics on my DJing ability here. I actually feel a bit embarrassed that some of these transitions worked out better than expected; this is supposed to be a collection of BAD music, after all. :p However, any comments regarding this mix are most welcome, even if it's just to join in on the fun in raggin' on crap tunes.
Anyhow, here is The Worst Of TC: 2007. Enjoy!

| Nice effort, but why listen to this "BAD music" when one can listen to good music instead? :D |

Same reason why people would purposely watch BAD movies, naturally. Pure comedic value. ;) |

So you'd appreciate the good music more :p |

| Also so you can easily remove your ears, thereby not spending money on anymore music :) |

That does raise an interesting point though. Without bad music to use as a comparison, good music would just seem average and plain. |

there had to be one controversial choice in there :p
for a standard trance-by-numbers imitation of a timeless classic it could have been alot worse, but i can totally understand why it's in there all the same..
(for the record, dow is no clown.. just about everything else he made last year smacked it) |

i'd also like to dispute the inclusion of 'truly madly deeply'. a) it's far too obvious, and b) it falls into the category of being 'so bad it's ing hilarious' which as far as i'm concerned, is a large plus point.. i can listen to it and instantly be cheered up for the day. it's a song that really puts everything else into perspective; all that's wrong in the world seems trivial when compared with it...
/edit - ah , listening to the mix & realise you meant the album version. the single version is far more entertaining :p |
