After debuting with us on our Autumn CD with one of the album's highlights
"Trombatores", Italian production duo Presslaboys make a most welcome return
with three brand spanking new tracks in the form of their "Fluid EP".
With some of their previous releases on the likes of esteemed labels such as
Saw, Crosstown Rebels and more recently Steve Lawler's Viva Music, their
music has won the support of many of the worlds top DJ's. The 3 track "Fluid
EP" will also certainly garner a lot of attention with the twitchy techy
sounds of "Sedicieventinove" to the funky deep twisted grooves of "Ultimate"
alongside the unrelenting driving percussion and melodies of "Re-mind".
Following hot on the heels of AMB and Federico Epis the Presslaboys have
come up with a corker of an EP and certainly starts 2008 off with a bang for
our Digital Only releases on Audio Therapy.

Italian production duo Presslaboys have been at the forefront of house for many years now. Their sound has gradually changed and developed over the years always sounding up to date and very well made. This three track E.P has me hooked to the Italians sound once again. Each track boasts its own style and individuality, from the dark depths of ‘Re-Mind’ to the popping sounds of ‘Sedicieventinove’ and the tech groove of ‘Ultimate’.

These boys have put out a Christian Paduraru like number of releases in the past few weeks - but this one is probably my favorite of the bunch, particularly "Sedicieventinove."
The other two I could take or leave, but "Sedicieventinove" is just solid, fun, dancefloor music. |
