Deadmau5 was not as good as the last time I saw him, in my opinion. But still good. Wasn't really feelin jz.. he was playing breaks for a while :wtf: but he's got mad dj skillz :crazy:

unbelievable night! could not believe the turn out on a Thursday, in fact we showed up kinda early, about 10:40, and it was already full.
deadmau5 played a great set and zabz of course tore it up but i too had to work today (and drive 2 hrs back to Sac) so we only caught the first part of his set.
it was great seeing the sf and la spundae crew in full affect, you could tell Guiv was happy.
oh and it was great to finally meet you billy, where do you get all that energy!
and on a final note isa and i drove home blown away at your cd alain, thank you so much, it was such the perfect touch to end the night. :)
PS. deadmau5 vids will be up this weekend. |

I want to become the spokesperson for Red Line energy drink...it is easily the most potent energy drink I have EVER had. Nothing else compares. They have a little 7-hour energy drink that's like the 5-hour energy drink, but they also have a big bottle that totally WIRED ME unlike anything ever has ....and it was green apple flavored and good! I heard the regular flavor is gross.
The bottle strongly warns you to only drink half until you buld a tolerance...well, I chugged a whole one!
Anyhow, I had good fun. Though on a night like last night, I really wish Michelle was there with me. Wish we could go to events together more. :( |

dave you were wired like a mother****** last night! i'm going to have to pick me up a bottle of redline this weekend. ;)
yeah, hopefully you guys can work out some events this year where you both attend. your other half is a lot of fun and we def miss her out. |

i wasnt feeling deadmau5 at all or the "amazing" openers... james was awesome though. i remember coming back into ruby skye and hearing him play a synclair track :crazy:  :crazy: |

i feel the same way. wish i couldve stayed for zabiela. he hella rocked the last time i saw him but deadmau5 at mighty was a much better night.
we'll see how G&D do tonight.. |

Last night day1 was good Deadmau5 & JZ, but I thought that was just the warm-up. Tonite is not to be miss with Spundae 15th yr celebration!!!
& Watch out for Alain's double pack cd!!! Already my friends want to steal it from me.
Got loads of friends confirmed for tonight, see you all there,

I loooooveee when JZ plays breaks....brought back memories of his and Sasha's tag-team set on te Annie Nightingale show years back...in fact, he played some of the same tracks!!!!!!!!!
JZ is amazing when it comes to the technical side of DJ with everything he does, and I was even impressed with Deadmau5 and what he was doing with his equipment |

So much fun! What a monster set! Definitely one of G&D's better performances over the years of seeing them play.

Gil and Billy, you guys are awesome. So glad you made it up! :D
I don't think I ran into any other TAs there...was up on stage most of the night. The sound at first was realllly bassy, but I think Josh complained and they adjusted it better.
I wouldn't have missed this night for anything...it was a special one! :) |

I miss out last night. But the last time I saw G&D at Ruby (about this time last year) the bass was really cranked up. When I was up on the second floor balcony - I thought my heart was gonna jump out of my chest from all of the reverb.
I can only imagine it was much the same this time. |
