i got a djm 500 for sale. Im asking 250 plus shipping. One channel out of the four is a lil jacked up, but it would be a good start up mixer for you.
Hey Blurr- im saving up for a new mixer and im going to hit u up for those x-zone mixers when i get close to having enough money. I already booked a penthouse with some friends for WMC. For all that money i could get me a new mixer and still have extra cash.I got to get my priorities straight.dammit.:D |

You'd be looking for more of a USB or MIDI controller, not necessarily a mixer :)
I always thought Traktor came with everything you needed to play right out of the box. Isn't their controller called Torque or something like that :conf: |
nope. i use torq, its similar to serato except with a lot more features. traktor should be standalone unless you got traktor skratch which again is like serato, and you need external control and a dj mixer and decks. |

dunno what you mean by that. i use the connectiv audio interface that came with it, its the only way to use it with external control. |

Have you used torq in a club setting how does that compare to serato?
I'm definitely considering torq because of the price difference compared to serato. |

yeah i used it when i played at 1015, didn't you see the pics? its an amazing deal, has a ton more features than serato and its pretty stable. only con is the build quality but that shouldn't be a problem unless you really toss it around a lot. |

eh.. blind bat I am. Didn't see it. Prob will go the torq route. Just so much more cheaper and I heard all the updates have been proving torq to be an excellent competitor to Serato. |

| torq xponent is actually my toy right now... once again, this is not a top "hobby" full time for me, but its more than enough for me to get my kicks. the xponent is awesome all around fun! but i wouldn't take it to a club... a bar, maybe. and if you plan on growing i wouldn't use it for more than the first year (actually, i think you can get away with some genres on it actually) |
