Yeah... Pretty much that. What are the sweetest Studio Reference Monitors I can get, no matter the price. (yes for producing electronica)
I had the TRUTH B3031A in mind but I want to hear what the addicts and audiophiles have to say. |

Is this something that you are actually planing to buy or just out of curiosity. Seriously, budget does play a part and you will be suprised what you can end up paying for quality monitors.
You will also find that it's very much down to your perception of sound and not that there is a single solution that everyone strives for.
Also, monitors can vary on music style even withing the realm of Electronica. You will often find that a lot of the really high end stuff actually favours a lot of the more conventional music styles and spending money on them would be a waste.
Also probably more a question for the production forum, but if you are thinking of buying then state your budget.
Cheers

Custom monitors ftw:tongue3
In order for your monitors to work as described, you will need an acoustic room with adequate size ratios + sound treatment. And yes, your hearing is your own, which implies that you will have to learn how your monitors translate when played on a different system. |

Fine! Yes I'm planning on buying them, and my budget... Nothing over 10 grand USD. The music I'm planning on composing: trance, house and drum and bass mostly. I also record guitar licks and such if that helps, so ya' mon'. That's the deal. |

| They don't exist. It can be very subjective and at that level the room acoustics will play a much greater role than the actual monitors. |

When I say the best, I mean it as a euphenism for some that are better than the ones I have... Which are none. The last ones I had broke and they weren't that good anyways. |
