| I am so happy they started doing these. It finally makes it worth while to buy the cds. I hope they do this with a lot more. If they do I can say they'll be getting quite a bit more business from me. |

| I think its the label's choice to have their cds as "maxi" (many mixes) or not. Personlly i would never buy a cd for those prices that are in this shop for just 2-3 tracks + shipping. |

Sure, instead of having 2 or 3 tracks on the cd they've got 7 or 8. With the exchange rate for us in the US it actually makes worth while. |

I find CD singles quite expensive, if you compare to vinyl. I bought some recently because shipping was free, but I still prefer to buy vinyl, at least until they drop the price of CDS
I find paying 10$ for 1 track quite expensive, when you can download the WAV and burn it yourself for around 2$ |

It just depends on the release. If the track is really special, or if there are multiple mixes on the disc that you want to play out, then the CD-Maxi might be a good deal. Otherwise, the digital copy of the track ends up being a much better deal.
It is nice to have a physical copy of that track, though. I'm seeing more and more Maxi singles marketed to collectors who NEED a complete physical discography for the B-52s, for example. |

Agreed on the physical copy part, that's one of the things that worries me about the whole digital download trend, it's just making tracks too disposable. |

| I'd rather buy a .wav from Beatport etc, but sometimes I have to buy CDs for single tracks as they're not available on download stores :( |
