Radio 1 Bedroom Producer (pg. 3)

Johan (DJ Irish)
Ahm, is this what scene has come to? Newbie production of a bog standard formula gets picked by international bigwhig and played on Radio 1? Wasn't there any better track than this?

We are suppose consider this a marvelous feat from an unsigned artist?!

The structure is simple, the sounds are generic (presets galore) and there's absolutely nothing that hasn't been done 1 million times before. The producer might very well develop into the next PvD or what have you but there's a lot more work to be done and stuff to learn.

There are lot better bedroom productions out there IMO.

I expected something better and not generic, but... this is IMHO. Plenty of non signed tracks better than this...

Hm, I'm wondering what has she "done" so this ty track is on Radio 1 :D

well 'record' is a totally different tool used for, hrm lessee.. recording audio from an external source, which obviously sparked the confusion...

and he obviously didn't, else we wouldn't be talking about it now. although i'm not sure how i'm the 'dumbass' for pointing that out.

Okay, gave it a quick listen.

Sounds like a video game track with tougher beats.

Silly sine arp.

Not a fan.

not a bad track, but it sounds too vangaurdy.

and presetty.

arrangement is good, sound design is bad.

Yeah, compositionally it's on par with much of the best trance of the mid 90s (which makes it dated and unoriginal as hell, but nice enough). But as others have said, pretty laughable production and sound-design. She's clearly had somewhat extensive compositional training but probably got Cubase a week ago. :o

She has though, so any comments on the actual music becomes null and void ;)
