Side chaining in Cubase SX3

Yet another thread by me!! I'm really anxious to get up and running with Cubase and I think I've worked most stuff out now except for struggling with side chaining (which I guess means routing as a whole).
I've done a bit of research. I know I need a vst that supports side chaining so I've downloaded a copy of TC Works Native Bundle (no longer available so had to do some searching).
I've also read this article http://www.dandont.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=100
however it refers to VST called Waves C1 comp which I don't have.
I've tried to follow the instructions and can't seem to sort it. Can anybody explain to me how to do this with the Native Side Chaining VST?

Or try this one for good quick results
SidekickV3
Link
This should get you away and produces good results.
Just put one instance on your kick track and another on your bass track.
Now open up instance from bass track, click bypass and click on a. Make sure ducking is activated. Adjust attack, release and thresh to suit.
Have fun |
