| I usually make us breakfast and occasionally dinner if she's not feeling up to it. But Bunny loves make dinner, so I let her :p |

we cook together a lot
she's a little lazy and i cook more often, and i am a little bit ambitious when it comes to cooking:
i always bake loaves of bread from scratch
some example dishes i make are (always from scratch)
ricotta and spinach dumplings ) wrapped in spinach leaves with a gouda cheese sauce
banana-walnut gnocchi -this was interesting.
gorgonzola/spinach pizza
brie/prosciutto pizza
fettucine with lemon/goatcheese cream sauce and sundried tomato
baked shell pasta with gouda
grilled chicken wrapped in prosciutto covered in a cream sauce
garlic smashed potatoes
lots of other things too of course. cooking is good fun |

Of my friends I am, by a considerable margin, the best cook. My dad is the only challenger (we have a cooking arms race lol).
Lets put it this way I lived with two French people one of their familys owned a brasserie (the guy)... and I owned always.... the girl used to always say "ah I always want to eat your food" (when they cooked together).
The guy did not like that. :p
But I can make pasta, pizza, bread and so on from scratch as in from flour and so on. And basically make it up as I go along rather than from recipes. Always prefer learning techniques/ideas rather than ridged recipes.
But yeah cooking with gfs is cool, though have fallen out before too... when I had one. :sadgreen: |
