Always been interested in these mixer, and I hear they are quality.

But it's always best to hear from someone who owns one, or who has owned one or someone who's used one a few times!

So?

I own a Nuo5 and I honestly cant say anything bad about it...solid mixer.

I've heard they can be a bit mid heavy?

Truth or myth?

I have, but was only able to have a quick session, hehe.

I was wondering what those people who use them on a daily/weekly basis thought!

I have a NUO4, and while there are claims of the mids being wider or heavier, I don't really have anything to compare against.

And really, you eventually start mixing around it, and I would think different mixers have their own 'signature'.

The NUO line of mixers don't really have too many lights on them, which some may or may not like. They don't have channel VU meters, but does have a small light indicator to tell when a signal is going through a particular channel. You can always check the channel level through the 'cue' meter & headphones.

I got my NUO4 because the cost was much lower than similar mixers and was basic enough to be extensible (XLR outputs, EFX send/return, etc.) while not having extras such as on-board effects and stuff that I don't really care to have. I prefer to have discrete components that do stuff well, rather than one thing that does a bunch of things but maybe not as well.

Exactly what I look for in a mixer, think I'm going to go with this bad boy!
