just got a second screen. I have a nvidia card and everything is a go now.
When using cubase however, in 'dualview' mode, when opening cubase, it will only stay in one screen, how do i expand it? i don't want to use horizontal span.
thanks
edit: is there also a way to have the task bar at the bottom of both screens? |

not sure about Cubase as i don't use it...
as far as the taskbar, you basically have to set up your screens as 1a & 1b as opposed to 1 & 2... not sure if this is available on all Nvidia cards but i'm sure its available on some... the only really annoying thing with doing this is that whenever something pops up centered, it will be right in the middle, so 1/2 on each screen... |

Look into a product called UltraMon. This little app is quite handy when using a dual monitor setup. You can have two task bars and it purs a new icon next to the Minimize/Full Screen/Close buttons in the top right hand corner of the window that allows you to move the window to the other monitor without having to un-maximize and drag.
I used to use it all the time! |
