| quote: | In my introduction to Psychology class, I learned that brain enables our mind and senses--seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling, remembering, thinking, speaking, and dreaming. Everything of our body and mind is controlled by this powerful motherboard called "Brain."
I have always taken interest in brain functions and how different part of the brain manipulates different part of our body and mind. For example, learning that medulla, the base of brainstem controls heartbeat and breathing and limbic system associated with emotions and drives have always fascinated me.
Since brain development can explain so much about our abilities and potential, I found the following brain development test very helpful. I would like to share the following test with everyone and perhaps it would be a useful guide for to discover one's inner talent.
Which direction does the women turn?

If you see her turning clock-wise, your right brain is more developed, If she is turning counterclock-wise, your left brain is more developed.
Clock-wise (right brain)
auditory / musical / artistic / symbolistic / sentimental / emotional / intuitive / religious / qualitative / receptive / imaginative
has slow movement, low self confidence, cautious memory disability, very sensitive
Counterclock-wise (left brain)
visual / linguistic / mathmatical / straightforward / strict / secular / quantitiative / athletic /
lethargic, has a low concentration span, not attentive, low judgmental skill
However, if you try harder, you can see the picture in both direction. If both direction is possible, then your right and left brain are equally developed!
Those with developed right brain are creative and emotional; and people with developed left brain are logical and mathmatical.
Find out which areas you need to work on and develop a balanced brain system.

its all a matter of which way you want to see it. I was the same way but if you change your thought process and imagine it turn that way it switches. pretty cool! |

haha, I just asked my daughter(5) which way is she turning and she said right but then she said "how did you do that?" "I didn't do anything. Why, which way is she turning now?" "she's turning the other way" haha she made it go both directions and so can I.:toocool:
Oh and it helps(atleast myself) if I focus on a certain part to "control". I focus on the foot and imagine it going the opposite way. |
