Its alright, not as electro as I was lead to believe.
But still, not a patch on Around The World In 80 Minutes. Compare "A Night in Cairo", "Our World" and "Drums of Africa" with the new material on this album and its plain to see which release is better and which has the groundbreaking tunes on it.
Wont be getting this. |

Sounds MUCH better than Ticon's album. However, I agree with Chris here that the album is weaker than their previous album. Still, it doesn't sound bad :) |

You can definitely hear the electro influence on this album but there are some ok moments. Some of the bass lines are pretty nice and I think "Monday Star" is ok. |

Bump.
When it first came out i found this very unremarkable and slightly boring. Now i've revisited the album and picked up on some of its qualities and i think it's quite good, actually. The greatest flaw (one this record shares with many artist albums in this genre) is that it after a while feels monotonous and lifeless. 10 tracks, at 1h 20min, with similar-sounding beats at more or less the same tempo, it all gets a little samey. Also some tracks, like "Crank Up", sound tired and cliched. |
