Hi, finally got back online after moving house and thought I'd post a little sample of a track I'm working on. Its a 2008 remix of this East Clubbers track. Would appreciate any feedback and will post the full track when its finished.

| Nice melody bass could use alittle work its alittle repeative but sounds ok.Vocals are nice and clean again might just be my headpones but your bass sounds alittle muddy your kick gets lost needs more punch. |

I really like the chord progression in this track - it works well with the vocal.
Everything sounds a bit mono and the bass is a bit toppy for me - could use some weight - not listening on monitors right now so can't be too accurate about that.
Also the hats don't really appear much in the mix - at the moment I'm using Camelspace and then a decent loop with a highpass filter on it and I've found that to be quite good for solving that problem. Using and triggering a lot of individual samples, which is what I used to do, can make stuff sound really skittery. |
