mixing was never my forte.
i was all about track selection.
in a duo, i would have been the guy who makes the music
and when we play live I would be handing the other guy
the vinyl so he could mix them.
other guy: what's this?
me: don't worry, just play it.
other guy: what?
me: don't ask questions, just do it. and skip five minutes into it
that's my right there!!! can you feel that bass line. HUH!!!!

that was from a long time ago, when i was going through my 'i wanna be a dj phase,' which i'm sure most of us here went through. (i'm going through my i want to be a rocker phase again -check my myspace page-)
and no the mixing wasn't that bad. cough cough
ok it was bad, but it wasn't that bad.
it had its moments. :p
