And I had a blast this weekend - and I'm really, really sorry we took off as early as we did last night. I was just in no frame of mind to spend a whole night out and about again.
We caught all of Ben's set and about 40 minutes of Blakes. Ben played great, and the tunes of the night for me were hearing the Jim Rivers mix of "Light the Skies", the Kings of Leon bootleg, 16BL - "Cupboard Love", and the tune of the night was "Nova." I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of that one, just a superb production by Ben.
What we heard of Blakes set was solid as well - very, very techy early on. Sounded like it was going to be yet another solid night, but I was just cashed by 1.
In any event - good times were had, and it was great to see everyone even if it was only for a bit. See you all on Thursday.

yeah, sorry we didn't stick around longer -- both of us were just so exhausted from partying Friday night and walking around all day on Saturday.
good times and good seeing everyone. hope the rest of the night went well! :) |

thx - it's the new lens (only been using it since late December) and the post-processing - I've learned a few new tricks over the past couple of months and am putting em to use. The smoke machines are still going strong and to the camera, that "smoke" is no different than real smoke. The smoke actually adds to the shot, imo. |
