Hi guys.
This was actually made a year ago but somehow I forgot to share it in here..
As the title says, it's a clubbier version of a track off Mike's previous album. A track I felt didn't reach its full potential and could use a bit more punch. The remix actually turned out to be thoroughly different from the original, but it's still very Mike-ish (his melodic side of course).
I'm not looking for technical pointers or anything (seeing as it's a year old), just wanted the to share the track with you guys.
Hope you enjoy!

hey tor.
great mixing man. so much power and warmth..
reminds me of 'push' in the good old days. you have paid real hommage to m.i.k.e with this so far.
starting to wind down in to the break. love the 80's evil synth.
break: omg. shivvers:) - i turn up to full in the phones. the melody is really lovely with a bonzai 99 vibe to it. the occasional notation moves up to a higher octave and then a little improviseational melody is amazing. really uplifting.
i think you have created a really emotional piece here. though i miss the certain sadness from mikes original. it was certainly the strongest album track from perfect blend.
your breakbeat part is definately the strongest part. it would be nice to hear a dubby version where the melody is saved for the breaks/breakbeat sections and you focus on the percs and bass more in main sections.
onto second main section. im aching to hear a raise in octave of the main melody after 32bars. would take to another level:)
keep it up man. and make a original tune of your own soon. this could have easily been named under your own name.
great stuff man |

Had this on my pc and wanted to review it but kept forgetting!
Really like your start. Back ground sounds are exactly my thing. Big and echoy!
The beat is quite nice.
I was bit dissapointed to hear the same synth in the main melody. I think it deserves more than that. I think that this melody is one of the few melodies i might dislike from M.I.K.E hehe.
Curious about how this might sound on a big system.
Either way nice one mate. |

That's probably because I wrote the main melody myself :p
Thanks for listening, everyone. :) |
