Well guys don't know if you know this, probably not...but I love to write and have not done so for a long time. So I think it's time to bring my writing back, I will be using this thread to post my writings. Please feel free to comment on them, praise or criticize. I hope you guys enjoy these I put alot of heart and soul into what I write, so enjoy!!!
Oh and if any of you guys write as well, please feel free to post it here as well!!!
That Sound
What is it about that sound that makes us jump and bounce around until we can’t no more? That sound that makes us reminisce of times gone by, a lot of good ones, but unfortunately some bad. That sound that can bring a smile to our lips, or a tear to our eyes…the one where you can make love all night long or sleep like a baby to its beats. That sound that brings friends and strangers alike close together, more than any other element in the world ever could. That sound that can be used to celebrate or mourn a moment in our life, that particular sound that when one beat catches our ears we can be flown back to that particular moment in time where we were when we first heard it.
That sound that can help us remember our first kiss, our first love, or even our first heartache…but what ever the moment I can assure you that each an every one of us has felt the magic of this sound surround you and wrap itself around you to the point where you don’t ever want it to let you go. That feeling you get of everything at that moment in that precise time is PERFECT. It is impossible that no one has ever felt the power, the force, or the magic that it can bring to a moment. This sound has been used in a variety of events that we have all been a part of, we have been hearing these sounds even before we ever saw the light of day or breathed air on our own. So by now you must be asking yourself “what is this sound”?
It is that sound, that keeps this world moving and it keeps us looking forward to the weekend coming up. It is this sound that we look forward to hearing when we get in our cars, stuck in traffic, or stuck at our jobs. If nothing else, it is this sound that can sometimes let us have something to look forward too. This sound has come a long way since it’s beginnings, it has brought a lot of History with it and it will leave a lot of History behind. I am glad to know that I or all of us will be part of this, and that for generations to come this same sound that carried us through life, will continue to endure it’s existence to help others through the same.
It is this sound that will never let you down, it will make you feel good even if it’s a sad song, you can always count on this sound to be there with a press of a button…it can whisk you away to where ever you want to escape for the moment. I give thanks to this sound for existing, because without it a lot of moments would not have been the same or would not stand out as much as they do because of this sound. So if you have a moment that you want to relive, or a memory that you want to preserve, all you have to do is listen…listen to that sound, listen to MUSIC!!!
