Comments are very welcome hope you enjoy it:)

hey
beginning is nice, i like that belly sound, but the guitar could be a bit brighter, imo
the breaks could be a bit more outstanding, you can hardy recognise them...same about the strings (or whatever this sound is ?!)...
all in all this is quite a nice chilly tune, but you have to work on the mixing/eqalizing, imo...your mix sounds a bit buddy...
but as you said you might going to rework it anyway...

| Thanks for the reply Klangzentrum, glad you liked it! I'll probably remake the drums almost completely, they sound a bit amateurish (because I was amateurish at the time) and I think I can do much better now. I think the "strings" and bass were all part of the same patch, Its done with envelopes from memory;) |

Nice guitar. The chords work. When the beat comes in the fill needs to sound a bit more detatched from the usual beat if you know what I mean. I think the beat needs to be crisper and have more of a defined top end. Otherwise good stuffs.
You have a PM

Quite a nice chill out tune. Feels far more chill out than breakbeat to me. Perhaps thats because the drums are so distant rather than full on.
The guitar could do with a touch more presence. I really liked the melody though.
If and when you come to remake it, I'd love a listen as an improved version could well be something I'd like to listen to a lot |

Hey, thanks to both of you for the replies, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll do a rework once I get a few other tracks finished, and the beats will be the first thing I look at. Its good to know that it's worth remaking, so thanks for your opinions.
Mr Kre8: I agree, the fill loops are almost the same as the rest! Thats one of the things I'll fix up since I have some grasp of beat programming now.
G-Con: It probably is more chillout, I've never had a good grasp of genres, glad to hear you liked it, I'll definaely post a revised version for your opinion;) |
