i hate disagreeing with a fellow Seminole...but....
last year for Morillo on that Wednedsay nite, when we got there at 3AM, they were already preventing people in the main room from going upstairs to the patio (Eric was on then in the main room). Not realizing how problematic it was, we went downstairs around 5:15 after Guetta finished on the terrace to check out the main room. Chus & Ceballos were on then...they were playing great music...but eventually we tried from 6-7am to get back to the Terrace and never made it. ended up leaving at 715am and never did see Erick that nite. :whip: :whip: :whip: |
i just think morillo and sander k have much much much bigger followings than ferry/doorn/prydz/guetta. morillo and sander k have rocked out space way more than the other guys.
plus that thursday of conference is the night of all the great parties so a lot of people will be spread out. im by no means saying space will be empty... but i dont really think itll be TOOOO hard to get to the terrace.
im expecting ferry to be the main mainroom dj, then sander to close after him. at the same time sander is playing the mainroom im expecting prydz to be rocking the terrace. as much as i wanna see prydz, ill be in the mainroom for sander. when sander finishes ima make my way up to the terrace. or atleast try to. hopefully ill catch some of prydz and a little of guetta, but i doubt ill be able to stay that long anyway. im not as hardcore as i used to be. i just dont think itll be too hard getting to the terrace on this night.
but who knows... ill probably be wrong. and if i am, oh well. happens, im not gonna bitch about it. i dont think there will be an issue getting to the terrace but if there is, i wont be surprised either. i know how it is.
took me 3.5 hours to get to the terrace in 2005. got to space around 11:30... waited outside for 2 hours. waited in the front room (now vip) for another hour. then waited in the mainroom for another 30 mins. once i got to the terrace i didnt leave. no reason to. lol. sander k rocked it so hard that night. ill never forget it. |

| i do have to admit that the 1st year Space was in their current location, they had Tiesto on in the main room playing till like 7am and Sander was on the terrace. I got there around 630am, no presale, and walked right into both the club, blew past Tiesto and walked right up to the terrace... |

I remember my first WMC, 2006, we were checking out PvD whatever... so we're waiting for our ride to get us @ 6 AM and we think, hell lets go see who this Sander guy is. So we stroll up to the terrace, literally SIT DOWN on the outside rim of VIP and chill out for a bit. No lines, not overly crowded up there. It must have been one of the small dead times leading upstairs.
The point is, for every horror story there is another story like mine.
Don't get me wrong, go early and expect the worst, but if you do that you shouldn't have any serious problems. |

i wasnt at space last year. in 05 when i was on the terrace for sander k and pvd and ferry were in the mainroom it was a bitch getting to the terrace even early in the night. but around 9-10am i was able to go freely from the mainroom to the terrace without any problems. |

Ive never seen Van Doorn but I not willingly got to see Ferry last yr at cameo, but walked away amazed. I keep hearing Ferry at space is just amazing. I am debating on going to see lawler as last yr at twilo he was simply sick! Would Ferry knowing its trance show or house show that does not matter to me.....but would Ferry and Van doorn really be all its cracked up to be, or is lawler the safer bet?
