scary to me /= gore. it's all about lead up and suspense. and sound. sometimes sound can creep me out more than what i'm seeing.

The Mystery Man from Lost Highway. This is not a classical scare scene, but more a disturbing one. Still, it really hit me when I watched the movie for the first time:
Uzumaki is one disturbing and creepy movie, but I especially like the last scene:

I actually saw this at the movie theater.... i think when i was about 12 or so.... i was sooooo scared. Maybe younger.
