The Egyptian-themed bi-level eatery-lounge features twisted house beats, with an array of local spinners (and the occasional out-of-towner) playing dirty house sounds all night long. This week Lance Jordan graces the decks with his melodic style and crisp high-quality productions that hit you in your soul more than in your face. Feygin of Elevator People will be doing the opening honors with resident maestro Thomas Pategas.
Lance Jordan has established himself as an internationally renowned producer / remixer and DJ. His work has been embraced by the global dance community with several chart topping club hits including Rosko's Billboard No. 1 hit "Love Is A Drug" and the world-wide club anthem, "Last Night I Was Dreaming" feat. Dr. T. His sound is known for being infectious on the dancefloor with a melodic style and crisp high-quality productions that hit you in your soul more than in your face. Lance's DJ style reflects his eclectic musical background and has been well received by underground music heads as well as more mainstream audiences. Knowing how to work a room into a frenzy, Jordan is well known for bringing live performance elements into his sets with live vocalists and percussion. Jordan knows how to ignite the sophisticated and eclectic tastes of modern clubgoers.
Dusk Recordings, the imprint formed by Lance Jordan, has been gaining steam in the house music world with tracks licensed to top compilations including Global Underground No. 31. “Sun Is Rising” gets highly placed on Dubfire's Live @ Taipei release and the track is featured as side A1 on the vinyl release. Jordan was also hired by electronic music superstar Nadia Ali (of iio) to exclusively produce the music for her 2006-2007 world tour. He co-produced Something To Lose with Creamer & K featuring Nadia Ali & Rosko on Ultra Records
With an extensive musical background in song writing, composition and musicianship as well as production, Jordan has a knack for finding and developing emerging artists and vocalist. His recent remix of Grammy Nominee Madelin Zero's "Gotta Know" has been topping DJ charts around the world. While Jordan's style is constantly evolving, his ear for a strong song and hook is apparent in all of his work. His tracks posses a musical finesse not often associated with dance music. His dedication to the underground club scene and appreciation for solid musical productions with vocal driven songs have earned Jordan a distinctive place in dance music.

Thomas Pategas has made a name for himself in the NYC nightlife scene in a relatively short amount of time. Over the years, he's gained an extremely loyal following by spinning funky house tracks poured over chunky bass lines - a unique sound that has made him one of the top DJs in NYC nightlife. Often leaning towards the darker side of house music, he's mastered the winning craft of bringing funk and sleaze to the DJ decks, earning recognition and respect from other DJ talents, club-goers, and promoters alike.
Dedication and passion has kept Thomas constantly accelerating in the fervent NYC DJ race. However, on par and no longer nipping at the heels of NYC's resident DJ favorites, he's now aiming to frame his sound globally. Summoning his earlier experiences in the house music scene in Miami, London, Spain, Sweden, and South America, he's taking his talent of mixing funk and grinding bass, back out to his roots. With live gigs in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Miami, and numerous internet worldwide downloads of his promo mixes, Thomas' sounds are indeed far-reaching.
His latest compilation from 0108 has been well received from his fans from various corners of the globe. The funky, twisted sounds are pure Pategas – guaranteed to keep your feet moving.
