It's a fine line. He may be an extreme case, but like all extremism... truth usually exists in the middle ground. I do like the idea that not every ailment needs a $50 prescription, and I do agree that America is WAY over-medicated (after working in a pharmacy for 3 years.) It's a perfect example of how our quick-fix society is being preyed upon by big business. [and I HATE big pharma with a passion.]
Contrarilywise... not everything can be solved by drinking green tea and rubbing on amazon ian tree bark on your arse. |

Actually, this is the guy who claims to know the cure for cancer, but he won't tell you unless you buy his book, and that if you have frequent heartburn you should drink a nice big glass of acid. |

I agree with you there.
I'm more intrigued with what he is saying about the FDA, being a huge monopoly and everything is about the money, the scandals. Some of it is a bit far fetched but very interesting. |

That part... unfortunately, is true. FDA is on the payroll of big pharma lobbyists, and has been. Big pharma is one of the diving forces behind the anti-medical marijuana campaign, as well as more benign cases like keeping stevia borderline illegal. |

I also wouldn't give any weight to anything he has to say about the FDA and FTC considering the nature of his past criminal charges. Just do a little bit of lazy research on the guy and you'll get plenty of information about that, or even just a quick wiki;
| quote: | | Trudeau has criminal convictions in the early 1990s for fraud and larceny. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and several states have sued him numerous times for misrepresenting his products.[2] |
| quote: | | On November 19, 2007, a court found Trudeau in contempt of court of that order for making "patently false" claims in his weight loss book.[5][6] |
| quote: | | Critics say that by not referencing studies to substantiate claims, Trudeau gets into a conflict with the FTC. The infomercials suggest that these subjects will be addressed further in the book, but this is not the case. Readers of his book are often referred to his website to find Trudeau's suggested natural cures, where a fee must be paid for its use. |
| quote: | | One common criticism by consumer groups is that Trudeau has had no medical training. Trudeau responds that by not having such, he is not biased towards pharmaceutical companies and the FDA, and that medical doctors "are taught only how to write out prescriptions" for "poisons" and "cut out pieces of a person's anatomy." (Natural Cures, Chapter 1 - "I Should Be Dead By Now") |
That's just scratching the surface. Personally I find him and the gullible sheep who read his books very amusing. |

Someone should just catch a clip of this guy sick/ill.

True. But I think you're just as gullible if you put your faith in the integrity of the FDA. |

I definitely agree with Gen3r4l1ty that America is over-medicated, and that the pharmaceutical companies make big money from treating symptoms and not necessarily diseases. Personally I find it hard to believe our medical and weapons technologies can wipe out whole cities, but not destroy a virus.
I DO think alot of diseases are caused by or exacerbated by poor health and people who do not eat healthy or take care of themselves. Thats a HUGE problem.
Some interesting food for thought, anyone looking for a good conspiracy theory which follows along this topic should look into the rife frequency generator. Basically the idea of this devices it that it takes an electronmagnetic impulse, and matches it to the harmonic resonance (the specific frequencys of atomic movement) of a virus, bacteria, protein, etc... Basically in matching the frequency, the target "shatters" like an opera singer shattering glass when she reaches that high pitch.
Alot of people have apparantly went to jail for this, and alot of conspiracy theorists suggest that the device works and that the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA stand to lose BIG TIME if this device were to ever come true and that they are behind all the law suits and the jail time. Take a look, it's some good conspiracy theory food for thought! |
