Hey everyone, everything's been quiet on the home front as far as releases and stuff are concerned, but I've been working hard in the "studio" for months and I hope you guys (DJs and non-DJs) will help support in everything I got coming up! So, here's a few announcements of what's going on in the very very near future.
NEW RADIO SHOW
I'll be launching my new radio show, after a year of me being off the air. It is called Rebel Audio and will be on every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night from 10-11PM (ET) on Sense.FM. It is a very mixed layout, some shows will feature guest mixes by some of the best international DJs, and others will just be my own one-hour mix. Expect a very refreshing track selection as I try not to play every hit that [insert generic internet radio DJ name here] are playing. Those of you who have come to my gigs have heard for yourself, so I hope you can keep up with the show, I'm very excited about it. This coming Wednesday will feature co-host Marcus Schossow live from my house (haha)... And three weeks from now will feature a 30-minute guest mix by the one and only Talla 2XLC
NEW SINGLES
I'm also very excited to announce the release of my follow-up tunes. Following the huge success of my last year's tunes "light at the end" and "paradise now", I'm very excited to announce my upcoming singles, "song of innocence" and "mouth without a voice." They each feature Martin Roth mixes, and "song of innocence" also features a Fei Fei remix as well. This was released on very limited vinyl (100 copies as of now) throughout Europe, and will be on full vinyl release on Valentine's Day, with it being featured as a Beatport exclusive within a few days of that.
Also new for the spring will be two tunes coming out on the new New York label, Quarterlife Records NYC. They are called "blackbox" and "river scum." The first is a dark mixture of tech-house mysteriousness. The latter is an uplifting electro-house tune. More info on those very soon.
By the end of March or April, I'll be releasing another new single called "borealis" on Infrasonic Records in the UK. It has an extremely catchy melody, and expect some very big remixes, more info to come!
NEW REMIXES
A variety of remixes will be leaving my computer and going out into the big wide world, so check out my bulletins on Myspace or my sig on TA, which will update you of when things come out. My remix of Der Mystik's "colombia" will be coming out in several weeks on the new Cali label called Real Legacy Records. My remixes for Majai's "phoria" and Maciej Panczyk's "truth in my dreams" will be out soon within March as well. I also have many more remixes in the works that I'm very excited about.
To hear any of these tunes, just check out my Myspace often (http://www.myspace.com/djeco ) as I update all the time with new music and bulletins. If you haven't added me already, do so! I'm always giving out free mixes, and free unreleases productions as some perks for visiting my page. I give out a lot of bootleg mixes too, so keep in touch through Myspace! |

| Congrats on the new releases !! I really dig the progressions on the colombia remix, overall energy of the track is cool and that electro/bas thing is sweet. Not really a style I would choose for my set, but productionwise defintely on point. A pat on your back to your passion and work ethic for dance music as a producer I know it is defintely a task to produce many pieces of music finish it and master it while being satisfied with it enough to send to labels with an end result of it getting signed. Godspeed in 2008!!! |
