Possible change of policies after election.. USA

What are possible change in policies you think will be made after the current retard president is replaced with a more normal person? Be it Hillary or Obama or Paul or whatever and whoever is contesting this election..?
I think first will be to stop invading more new countries, take a U turn on Iran..
Second will be gradual but firm decision to withdraw completly from Iraq in set timeframe..
Third will be allocating more funds to development and modernisation of Afghanistan.. rather than aimless endless chasing of Osama and spending billions on it.
What you guys think? Will US change or it will be same 'war on terrorism' and forever? |

Mccain = absolute disaster...same forever...more aggressive military policy...possible invasion of Iran which will cause immense blowback against the US and eventually lead to WW3
Anyone else = the other stuff you mentioned (withdrawal from Iraq, repairing the diplomatic damage done by Bush, etc) |

There won't be a ww3:o ...and if there will be it will because of the US invading a ton of different nations whose people will have no alternative but to fight off the invaders. |

I disagree. Mccain is a senile warmonger.. We don't know what he would do once he gets power. All of his criticisms of Bush are that he hasn't been aggressive ENOUGH. I'm afraid the USA has been lucky for the past 7 years, and it's only a matter of time before we get attacked again...with a dirty bomb or something serious that kills 10,000+. I wouldn't be surprised if Mccain retaliated with real nukes...with or without proof of who hit us.
If he attacks the middle east like that, it would seriously piss off Russia and China who have strong economic ties there, and that could kickstart WW3. Or at least an economic world war, where they dump every dollar they own..leading to hyperinflation and Great Depression #2 in America. |

| HELL NO! I mean we all hear the pet talk from all these candidates running their campaigns with the "Change" slogan. But I dont foresee any change with any of the candidates. I mean lets say Hillary gets elected, she IS GOING TO DIVIDED CONGRESS. Mccain is an interesting character, eventhough i dont like the guy, he is the republican that is able to work with democrats on many issues. he is sort of open minded in that sense. but is america going go through change if any of these candidates, reps and dems, win? hell no |

Really only on campaign finance reform initiatives... and this campaign he has backed off of those.
Degree of change is all relative - we aren't going to see anything broad and sweeping, but I think the Democratic candidates have fundamentally different philosophies on governance than the Republican candidates do - how much "change" a Democratic administration will bring about is all a matter of where your threshold for "change" lies.
But you can bet that education policy will be shifted, the aggressiveness of US foreign policy will be curtailed a bit, and the expansion of executive authority will be stopped. |

I am leaning toward this interpretation; but will make up my mind more once all of the shenanigans of picking both parties' winner is up and a more clear understanding is available.. |
