You need to check your levels out a bit - those panned hihats in the intro are quite loud compared to the rest while the beat gets lost somewhere in the background. An extra bassline and some extra percs would also be nice.
I like the idea you have going on in here, though some of your notes seemed to be off. It sounds more proggy than melodic to me, though... not that that's a bad thing. I'd drop the BPM a bit and build on that floaty atmosphere more if I were you, but that's just my own preference.
Is it just supposed to stop like that at 5:41? |

Thanks, yea I'll check the levels, where did you think it was out of tune, was it "the bell" near the end as im experimenting with pitch shifting here.
It's funny Im finding I naturally go proggy, but I love building up the melody with a massive intro, I suppose to me prog is trance because a run of the mill 5min trance track probably wont get you in one!
I know I need to make the sounds allot "purer" too as they sound abit rough, loving the "landscape" pad at the end tho. |
