just watched game 2, nice come back by the lakers but just wasn't enough. i think i'll be going for the lakers, the main team i go for is houston rockets but they didn't make it this far and i used to like the lakers more than the celtics when i played that old computer game :D even though the celtics haven't won recently i don't think so it would be good for them. hopefully the next few games are exciting :D |

Celtics have everything going for them. Nothing wrong with a little excitement at the end as always.
Kobe is pissed so I expect a 30+ performance the next game. |

the end of the game was not 5 on 5 basketball.
It was kobe vs ray allen or who ever garded him those last two shots and got what they deserved. A good ol' schooling from Kobe.
But.... its a team game that was not what I was expecting. Plus if I was the defense on kobe I would not let him get off a shot with less that a minute to go. I know free throws would be made but still have a fighting chance as a team not 1 on 1 basketball that I could play at the park and back the person in each time for a easy hook :p |

kg ang pierce need to step up their game a bit. They were awful in game 3. Kg needs to make more close shots/dunks.

Granted I jumped BACK on the bandwagon(off when they got rid of Toine, back on when they got him back, off when they FINALLY got rid of him, always love me some Toine!)..... BUT
of course, everyone is a Celtics fan around here now... and its like... they don't even know who KG is... its pretty funny, then they're like..."oh Celts are going to sweep..." Then I interject with, are you a ing moron? Oh wait, don't answer that.... but good job on counting Kobe out going back home... retard....
I told my friend.... I almost don't want to see them win it all, because its gonna start the in "Celtics Nation phenomenah", and the PINK jersy's will start flooding the streets and all the females will start flooding games, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner will be spotted at games, Celtics winning the Finals will be on Season 5 of LOST, etc, etc... UGHHHHHHH... |

Season 5 of Lost? Pretty damn funny if you watch the show. Great point.
I can never wish for the Fakers to ever win a championship. I'm hoping the Celtics steal this year because certaintly the Fakers are the favorites for the next couple of years until Portland is a juggernaut. hehe :-) |

This series has come down to
Celtics have 3 really good players and Lakers have a good overall team with kobe.
Its all about consistency. If the Pierce, Allen, and Garnett have a sub par game will the rest of the team pick up the slack? That is where they fall short against the Lakers.
About the ref. Well thats another thread to discuss :whip: |
