but it's 2:30am, and i can't sleep because i have this little mashup idea in my head. ALL I WANT IS TO BUY THE GOD DAMN INSTRUMENTAL OF CHRIS LAKE - CHANGES. but i can't buy it anywhere. juno won't let me, beatport won't let me, record companies listen closely: i am trying to give you my money. why won't you let me?
because of this absolute nonsense, i have to use a pirated MP3 instead while i wait for the physical cd single to arrive from on amazon (yes, i did order it).
i understand there are different record companies for different parts of the world and yada yada yada, yes i've read all about it, but there has to be SOME WAY to let us get the MUSIC we want. please.
sorry about this thread :( i'm just tired and cranky. |

One record company will have the right to distribute a track in the US and another record company will have the rights to distribute that same track in Europe.
So in actual fact it's the record companies themselves that demand this restriction.
Yes it sucks for us though and I totally feel your frustration. If I can't get hold of it I just get it illegally. |

Completely agree here...
had to buy the CD for Changes to get the instrumental in decent quality. |
