That's the Daily Mail facism in oven gloves as a lot of us call it over here in Blighty. Scroll through the articles and look at the comments especially if it involves an immigrant for a good laugh.
It wouldn't actually suprise me one bit if people from the new chav generation know nothing of the UK's history. Very sad but I blaim a lot it on the modern British culture where breeding like flies is a way to own a house etc. It's on the same comparison as people in the states who don't know where their capital is. |

I agree, the Daily Mail is a load of pish, but the Sun is far worse IMO...typical that a paper that prints so much e is the best selling paper in the UK.
For example, the Sun ran a story with the headline 'BARBER REFUSES TO CUT HAIR OF ASIAN GUY'...the story then went on to play the racism card, with an interview from the guy who's hair the barber refused to cut. Then to my disbelief, in one very small paragraph at the end, a statement from the barber in questionL
"I refused to cut the young man's hair due to the fact that the hair on an asian person's head grows differently than a caucasian, and requires special training to be able to cut it properly."
Typical story from a bunch of s who made an racial issue where none existed. They're a shower of sensationalist bastards who'd do anything to sell papers. |
