Hey everyone.
Thinking about checkin Ferry Corsten this upcoming friday, however, I have never been to bleu room before. What is the area surrounding it like? High crime? Friends have had bad experiences in detroit but I am very unfamiliar with the various areas.
Thanks in advance. |

There are a bunch of threads like this some were. I am too lazy to type up what I write every time and to lazy to look for the threads. |

The area surrounding the club is high crime if you ask me. Although most inner-cities have high crime rates.
Uhh, can you have a bad experience in Detroit? Totally, but you can anywhere.
Park in well lit areas or parking garages to avoid thieves breaking in to your vehicle.
Other then that just try and keep your eye open when you leave the club at 4 A.M
I've been told Detroit is a whole different city after 2 A.M when most hip hop clubs get let out. |

Pretty much the best thing I have ever heard on a forum.
Considered it NOTED. Luckily, I have the latest 50-Cent Edition Kevlar (nothing against him but if there was such an edition of bullet-proof vests, i imagine they would stop virtually anything that goes 'bang') |

I'm sure you could coat check it. That would be a real workout dancing with it on. |

| The surrounding area is alright. It's better than the area around congress in Chicago. Last time I was at Bleu though the police were out in force, particularly the gang task force. |

and you have been to Detroit .. what .. like twice?
you will be fine boss, just like any major city watch your back and dont be a douche. i spent the last 6 years of my life before moving to chicago playing and getting down a bleu without a problem.
the only place something did happen was when i was walking out of the state theater which is suppose to be a nicer area so go figure. anything up and down woodward is fine for the most part. there is secure parking in a few garages right around bleu for like 10 bucks. |

I haven't lived in Detroit like you have Quadlow so I don't have your first hand experience. But I have visited many times and it can get quite nasty in Detroit especially if you get lost.
We were at a rock concert in Detroit and there were cops and an ambulance blocking the road once leaving us with no choice but to detour. We quickly ran in to territory worse than anything I've ever seen in Muskegon.
It's just not a good town to get lost in. I just haven't been to areas of Chicago that compare yet.
Toledo..thats another city...we accidentally took an exit and we shot in to the ghetto at 70mph I swear. We we're in some projects in no less then 1 minute from exiting the highway. |
