omg, if he is stupid - ok.
let him overdose, feel what it's feel like, have a ride to the hospital on the er.
obviously, that's what a guy wants.

one of them is seeing a different psychologist now, in an attempt to straighten themselves out. it just seems to me that this "self medicating" is an endless roller coaster for them. i mean, if i wanted to fix it, i would take the meds at the correct dosage, stop drinking and be proactive about it. this isn't what is happening. the move to a different psych seems like a weak move to satisfy a guilty conscience, without actually changing anything.

Coke is one hellava drug..

Never got heavy into it, but the same dude I was talking about, one time started losing his mind in my car, talking about, "Dude, I can't feel my body, I can't see straight, everything is moving, you gotta drive me home man."

I just asked why he did so much for absolutely no reason and that he should lay off the hard drugs for once. Smoke some weed, seriously...:(

we're talking about extracting codeine from tablets, valium, benzos (to the point of not being able to remember 4-8 hours of their lives), acid, mdma caps, GHB, etc.

that's not normal? :wtf:

but seriously...they may appreciate your concern, but they need to want to stop, themselves.

perhaps it is different in america, but over here "normal" is basically you've tried weed socially a few times and thats it. mixing together all kinds of random painkillers, by yourself at home, regularly, is not normal imo.

Yes, your friend(s) does drugs. A lot of different ones. Has it been affecting his economic, or social life?

I've been watching a couple people go down this path lately, some of them fairly close to me, it really sucks, because there's nothing you can do until they want to stop, except be there for them when they do. But it's just something that you're exposed to when you spent time in the party scene, I guess. Have to take the good with the bad.

lol I was thinking the same thing, that sounds like normal recreational drug use and/or self medicating psychological problems to me :D

When they are coping herion in the ghetto at 2 am or IVing 2 grams of meth a day, then its time to worry. But even then people won't quit using until something happens to make them want to quit.

:( :( :( :( :(

I think my friend might need rehab, but for injecting ocs... It really makes me sad. We are talking between friends and if we think it is get bad (again) we are gonna do something about it. Whether that means calling his parents, rehab.. I dont know but it sucks.

This is the sort of thing that makes me appreciate how my group of friends, despite not liking EDM partying and all that, are pretty responsible and would never get into this sort of ... except for some random abuse of alcohol here and there, hah.

I can't give very good advice then as have never been in this situation. I guess I'd try to put some sense into them, and if things get really bad, well... rat them out to their parents or something? Better to be seen as a betraying cunt than to let your friends ruin their lives. Although if they're seeing psychologists already - and going to them with the wrong attitude - seems to me that's it's a really ed up state where very little can be done, until themselves on their own want to stop with the over-the-top drug thing.

ty situation to be in, sorry man. :(
