Why should she be forced to do something totally bitchy and cold (like telling him to off out of her life) just because HE takes her too seriously?

Just because YOU know what you're thinking doens't mean everyone ELSE knows what you are thinking. Consider it speaking two different languages, but on a bigger scale.

Two different languages indeed. Guys = what's on their mind, girls = complete and utter horse .

Like 90% of the time.

Good call, I see what you're saying.
And I'm not saying I would behave the same way in the given circumstance... I just think it's a weird situation where both guy and girl are at fault making a ghey situation that doesn't really benefit either of them.

Furthermore, if the genders in this scenario were reversed, I highly doubt that all the guys would be saying "oh wow, that guy is such a jerk for leading that girl on"
I think the majority would be calling the girl a dumb idiot who can't take a hint, followed by a bunch of digusting sexist commentary.

Not all girls are evil bitches... down with the misogyny in this thread :toocool:

the OP is not going to get any sympathy in this thread. every guy posting in here IS that guy.

I've been "that guy" in the past too... so to speak

got ed around with for a really long time by a jerk who couldn't make up his mind or didn't want to or whatever... it sucks... but it was my fault for not accurately reading into things

That's why I have no sympathy for either. I was just jumping to the defense of the girl because of all the censure.

a girl i was seeing wouldnt take a hint and i had to just slowly cut her off and she got pissed at me... i suppose i did put out a bunch of mixed messages, but really she just didn't get it- and she was crap in the sack-

my roomate (a woman) called me a jerk-

then i saw her a couple days later and ended it officially-

she sent me a text one night after a gig where i kind of ignored her/was too drunk and running around to spend time with her saying if i didnt call and explain myself she didnt want to see my anymore... i did nothing, then saw her the next day, she came to the club i worked at and i ended it while she was drunk and i was working... high fives all around.
