stuff from northern china is more spicy. the chinese food i ate while i was in china was actually pretty ty. the chinese food in hong kong was out of this world. i think chinese food only tastes good when it has the hk touch. the northern china dishes i have here and in hong kong taste good. the 'gow chee' (panfried dumplings) that my mom makes are superb. i can also make a mean 'chung yao beng' (green onion and oil cake/cookie thingy.. its hard to explain). |

I was just talking about the Korean Vs. Japanese in terms of Spice factor.
I love the spicy Chinese food though :D
