| it looks like a nice setup but definitely not what i was expecting to see of the past crobar and new mansion. good for them. |

a space that big can't just cater to celebs and A-listers. a space that big needs BODIES paying their good money for drinks, bottles, and admission to pay the rent.
as for the dancefloor, i don't even really know what to say about that. i am sure they'll be pushing bottles...what else could they need so many tables for.
read on another board the soundsystem will be Funktion-One. |

there much good points in this thread to summarize that the all bottle service for such big venue will not pay the bills without a good turn around at the cover door & bar profit.
well, we will see how long this last in coming months but I'd organize a boycott between us clubbers of this place for 6 month and we'll have our dance floor as result. :disbelief
PS. why they put in such nice sound system if they havent plan to have some dance events like Alegria and other big revenue events. |

yea thats a pretty big spot to fill week in and out with almost all bottle service
alot of these clubs start out like this but a few months down the road they see its not working week after week and change format
so i say thats wat happens
if they do succeed then more power to them
i just have a funny feeling that tiesto or armin will be there cause mansion will have the $$ to afford them you know
so who knows
and i wonder what djs who used to be at crobar all the time and now went to pacha will make their comeback to 28th street? |

| that is unbelievable. crobar was goot. not the best but def. spacious and was for the dancers and trance djs. been to pacha , was small but it had some space all throughout. i dont hear good things about other places either. i want to check out sullivan room someday. i thougth club ibiza here was being terrible with tables/couches keep expanding to the main floor, hahaa. that is just ridiculous. so no big room club in nyc now? hmmm |
