hello,
we use a mx 180 in club, a friend just gave me an efx 500, there is no send/return output on rodec mixer, there is a effect in/out jack in the back with written pic in, ring out. I do not understand how can i plug it to the efx.
I though i can use a rec out as in of efx and out of efx to a channel, but it will do a loop on efx sound :/
any idea ? |

you'll have to plug in onto the master. |

Do you mean TIP in/ring out?
If so...its a TRS jack but with the ring wired to one pair of wires,, and tip wired to another- in otherwords, its split.
Need to buy (or make) the cable which will split the single jack (which covers both in and out) into cables to plug into the EFX.
In fact if you look here:
http://www.rodec.be/site/folder/mx180k3.pdf
I can just about read it and see the picture.
EDIT:
Reading this:
http://www.rodec.be/site/manuals/Mx...MKIII%20use.pdf
It says:
| quote: | H) Effects IN/OUT
Input and output to connect effect apparatus to the microphone channel. If there is no plug in
the JACK, the microphone channel works normally, if there is a plug inserted in the JACK, the
internal link is interrupted. The sensitivity of this IN/OUT connection is 160mV. |
Shame... looks like its an effects loop only for the mic.. what a waste!
You will have to stick it between the master out and the amp in that case,.... |
