How often are you happy for others?
Right now I'm really happy for my girlfriend. She was applying for a research position in Nagoya (Japan) and that chairwoman (about whom Ifm often talking about) tried to send someone else on her place. She was really obnoxious to my girlfriend, trying to discourage her. Turns out that there was so much pressure for more transparent decisions this time that she had to form a committee and, eventually, my girlfriend was chosen.
I'm so happy for her that I don't even care about the time we'll spend apart. She had fought really hard for this, and it's nice to see that justice prevailed.
So, how often are you happy for the success of others? |

I'm happy for the success of others all the time. In fact I try to surround myself with equally (or more) happy and successful people because it raises my game. |

Of course... Scott's my brother and his happiness has a direct impact on mine due to our frequent interaction... his happiness benefits me. |

everyone is this way but in my case the benefit is happiness in itself...
i like being happy, therefore i am often happy for others as well.
