Possibly the best shuffle vid I've seen. When a lot of people do it to hardstyle they basically just running man really hard with some kicks, but proper shuffling is much more intricate.

In the psy outdoor parties in Brazil people are doing this thing, they call it the "rebolation" ...

Shuffling is easy when you're wearing socks and have a rather slippery surface.

Thats why I wait until its late and the dancefloor gets wet before i start shuffling. If its dry, you have to hop your way thru which can be very tiring.

You need to build up your leg strength. :gsmile:

i'm not much of a dancer, but that shuffle looks kinda cool. the music was pretty bad though.

It is when done properly; the people in those videos are both dick heads and dancers.

Shuffle is ing rubbish imo. Not dancing, more like a statement. "I'M A RAVER!"

As above; the people in the videos are show-offs and can't dance for . The best shufflers can't be found on youtube because they're not idiotic enough to film themselves in public car parks, at home etc.

I gotta admit that those two are both pretty good, great footwork, however I still think they are lame as anything for making up a synchronised routine and filming it in a car park. Also that music is disgusting.

A lot of these hardstyle/hard nrg dancers have a very aggressive shuffling style which I guess suits their retarded music; they look they're having upright epileptic fits.

I've seen far, far better shufflers at trance/techno/tech-house events in Melbourne, with much more subtle arm actions and a far more graceful, smooth style. I almost wish someone would film them so people can see how it's really done. Believe it or not, it's just as easy to shuffle to 120BPM as it is to 150.

I would love to see this being done to prog house...seems impossible to me.

Nope, I shuffle at all kinds of events when the mood takes me. Nothing better than seeing the looks on people's faces when you dance that way at one of their snobby tech-house nights (subtly of course).

"Ergh, a dirty raver! Gettheout!"

In Melbourne the dance is very much confined to events of 135 BPM and up; any slower and shufflers become quite rare. As such it has a very bad reputation among "cooler" scenes like techno, who (mostly) traditionally despise trance and other harder genres.
