| The weird thing is that at Seneca, I'm taking a gen ed course on Stephen King and our teacher showed Apt Pupil the day/day after he died. Very weird especially because that movie deals with the horrors of death. |

That is a messed up movie...and there's a lot of not-so-well-known controversy behind it involved the director taking what are essentially illegal liberties with underage male actors.

Renfro has been in some weird films (Bully is another) and I remember reading that, even as a kid, he was a bit of head case. Apparently when filming Huck Finn, they needed a glorified babysitter on the set to keep him out of trouble. |
