No biggie at the time, but I think it sounds like there's some more and more grumpy workers there, I remember it being the coolest experience the first 4-5 times I went there, everyone was crazy nice... Not saying they're not nice, but it seems like it's slipping a tiny bit... Could be isolated incidents though, just saying! Although the bartenders are still crazy nice, and even though the list was a bit messed up, the people were nice about it, but that one bouncer gave off a bad vibe :(
Anyway, I wish I was there on Saturday night, but I feel a lot better now and I guess it's cos I didn't go out lol... |

as of last month, Love hired an outside security company to handle venue security. The rest of the staff (bar, hostesses, coat people, etc..) are all the same. I'm bringing all this up in a long email to management tonight so we can work it out for the 23rd. :) |

Another Banging Core party. I got there a lil late (1130'ish) cause i couldnt find any parking space. When i got there LOVE was already getting full and hot. I enjoyed everybody's set and the variety of music. The night excellent not to mention hot DJ's all around. Keryn dropped some ing bombs towards middle to the end of her set, it just made me move with drink in one hand and cam in the other. It was fun hanging out with everybody as usual.
Bouncer gave off the " You" Vibe, all tough he didn't give me any problems. (he said bro like 10 times to me :wtf:). Not to beat the dead horse, but it was a freaking sauna over there, but i still like LOVE.
I'll have the pics up by tomorrow night. I went snowboarding for the whole day, yesterday to mountain creek so i wasnt able to do anything. I just got home and im working on some pics. |

wanted to thank everyone who came out this night and made it a huge success. You're support over the last year has been awesome and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. I feel like we have all really built a party together in the true spirit of the word.
February is our 1 year anniversary of the "Core Events" brand... hope you can all come celebrate with us at our next party where we are also celebrating zacks 2 years of residency!

It's all good :p It's not like Pacha where the reduced and not-reduced means a difference of 10-15 more dollars to pay for admission haha... If they say my name's not on reduced, whatevs, I pay the extra 5$, it's a good deal anyway... And as for the bouncer, I think we've all been treated 40x tier elsewhere, so not really worth the complaint, if he's new, I'm sure he's just bringing his experience from whatever other (very different) venues he's worked at, and I'm sure he'll adjust eventually.... |

still there is a right and a wrong.. and plus if we put someone on the list and they dont get in, its a direct reflection on us... so we expect it to run smoothly
all this being said.. love consistently has an excellent staff and zero hassles at the door... so im sure it was just an isolated incident |

Well, I had been working for 6 hours before I got there and I was bartending at that so I was a little tired to begin with. Then I decided to ride with my cousin and another friend into the city and I don't know the city at all. I was thinking that he did well, I was wrong! We got lost for an hour and a half and then got a falt tire. Got a cab and then we got there and I was just pissy!!! So, I tried to drink but I was starting to sober up from working earlier and I was getting a headache and then it was so damn hot!!! After Keryn I bounced!!! |
