ok this is surely arguable, and i dont wanna be biased. but in my opinion 2002 was the year of trance! best tracks released that year. all my favourite tracks and livesets just happen to be from that year, so thats why i choose it.
2003 and 2004 were not bad aswell but the style began to change then and is not wut it used to be. 2002 still had that magic in trance (and of course the years before it)

| 2002 was also the for me. It was the year I returned to the Guv from the old RPM days, so that year is the most nostalgic for me. |

yar, it officially started recycling around 03 i guess, and it's still recycling blue bin style thanks to j'oc and tyas.
I got into house (like everyone else?!) about 2-3 years ago and I'm still hoping for trance to make its 2nd coming. I believe it will in a year or two, since electro is on its way out like an exploding star to be replaced with wavy 80s dance music, leaving some room for trance. Miss Cleo told me so |

Trance sets still do have their magical moments. |

I would say 1999.. but I really can't be 100% sure.. see '99 is when i first got into trance.. i was searching for a led zeppelin song whole lotta love.. and i somehow downloaded paul oakenfold's remix ...(btw.. hes done over a hundred now) ...ever since then i have been hooked !!
btw.. who here think's ferry should be #1 dj by 2009 ? |

I wouldn't say it's all been crap since then...but 'old trance' > 'new trance', no question.
the old darker stuff was awesome...but there is plenty of good fluffy trance too :) |
