MOJO

Mojo started his DJ career in 1997, playing party faves for a few hundred people each weekend.

What started out as a means to entertain, quickly became an obsession to put on a show. Mojo embarked on a mission to make his sound as unique as possible.
I don't have a genre, just a sound and an intense style of mixing. If it sounds good, I play it
Combining elements of Tribal, Progressive, Techno and Trance, Mojo has developed a sound he likes to call "CHUNKEE", a tough jackin' sound that is relentless, with multiple layers of FX and samples.

Mojo's sound has seen him play various clubs around Australia, everything from House to Trance.

Mojo was a fan favourite around the Sydney club scene for 8 years prior to moving to Melbourne, where he played at such clubs as Home, Gas, Candys Apartment, the Ice Box, Chinese Laundry, The World Bar, SugarReef and Temple just to name a few.

Mojo first wowed the Melbourne scene with his amazing technical ability and quirky effects in December of 2006, where he played a 6 hour set. Much to the crowds delight, Mojo was later booked for Interviews 1st Birthday, alongside Germanys Martin Roth.

In 2007, Mojo found himself being billed alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Paul Van Dyk, Sean Tyas, Cosmic Gate and John 00 Fleming.

Mojo’s influences consist of Marco V, Sander Van Doorn, Mashtronic, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Sasha, Steve Angello, Ferry Corsten and Scott Bateman.

With Dj'ing being his soul purpose in life, Mojo expanded his means to entertain and teach, by opening a Dj store called DJ Warehouse, located in Melbourne’s inner city.

With the latest in technology at his fingertips, it is always a constant surprise what he will bring to the booth.

Man I thought about that the just before and cracked up and how funny it was. Gotta do it again!

Mini table tennis FTW also. Funny !!

Those speakers are unbelievable for the price you scored them for man. It's waaaaaaay more fun mixing at yours now!

That mix has got a wicked flow to it + the tunes are bangin without serious agression. The mixing is tight as and is possibly the best mix I've heard you come up with man. ING AWESOME MAD :)
